Community route map
Dragonkind Choices & Paths
A compact path reference built from repeated player testing. It is a map of observed branches, not a guaranteed answer key.
Quick answer
The biggest current finding is that visible choices shape which encounter pool you reach, while a random layer still changes whether rare options appear and whether an encounter becomes a bond or death.
Observed branch map
| Decision area | Observed branch | Possible outcome family |
|---|---|---|
| Tree | Climb down quickly | Often Red; death or bond can follow |
| Tree | Climb down slowly | Greens, with Orange/Brown interventions possible |
| Tree | Rare third / shadow option | Blue first; passing Blue may lead to Black |
| Valley center | Engage first Red | Red death/bond path |
| Valley center | Pass Red and continue | Orange/Brown meadow path |
| Meadow | Rare extra Blue | Blue death/bond path |
What repeat testing tells us
- The same broad choice can sometimes produce a different result on a later account or attempt.
- A community mapper testing 30 unique accounts reported no meaningful assignment effect on decision success rates.
- Rare Blue/Black opportunities appear to depend on a luck-based branch becoming available, not only on earlier moral or personality choices.
- Once a rare dragon appears, the final interaction can still kill the player.
How to use this page
Community observed
Use paths to target encounter pools
If you want a rare dragon, choose routes that can expose its encounter pool, then expect repeated attempts. Do not treat the route map as a deterministic quiz answer sheet.
FAQ
Do the same answers always produce the same dragon?
No. Multiple community reports describe different outcomes from the same or very similar choices.
