How to Play Dragonkind
The shortest path from the official site to your first Threshing run, with the retry rules that matter if a dragon burns you.
Go to dragonkind.com, create or return to your account with your email, enter the Rider’s Quadrant, receive your assignment, and start Threshing. If you die, the official FAQ says you can try again after a few hours and there is no lifetime retry limit.
The basic flow
- Open the official Dragonkind site and enter the Rider’s Quadrant.
- Use your email to create or return to an account. If you are waiting for a code, the official FAQ says codes are sent in batches and recommends checking spam.
- The experience assigns you to a wing, section, and squad before Threshing.
- Enter Threshing and make choices through the interactive story.
- A run can end with a dragon bond or with your death. Death is not permanent.
- After a successful bond, your result card identifies your dragon and several traits.
What happens if you die?
The official Dragonkind FAQ says you can try again after a few hours and can keep retrying until you bond. Community players commonly report a four-hour countdown, but the official wording remains broader: “a few hours.”
Because the story contains random branches, repeating the same broad route does not guarantee the same outcome.
What to do before your first run
- Use an email address you can access, because the official FAQ notes that access codes may arrive in batches.
- Expect spoilers once you open route guides on this site.
- Do not assume a specific wing or squad assignment guarantees a dragon color; current community testing has not found a reliable connection.
Use the official site, not a quiz clone
Dragonkind is at dragonkind.com. This site is an independent guide and does not collect Dragonkind logins or codes.
