Dragonkind Retry After Death
Death locks the next attempt for a while, but it does not end your Dragonkind run permanently.
The official FAQ says you can try again after a few hours and can keep retrying until you bond. Community reports commonly show a four-hour countdown, so plan around roughly that window rather than expecting an instant reset.
Official retry policy
- Dying during Threshing is recoverable.
- The official FAQ says the next attempt becomes available after a few hours.
- There is no lifetime limit on the number of Threshing deaths.
- You can keep trying until you bond with a dragon.
Why people say the timer is four hours
The main community threads contain many four-hour timer reports, and a pinned recap relaying Rebecca Yarros’s Instagram remarks says the repeat timer was almost set to 24 hours instead of four.
Because the official FAQ intentionally says “a few hours,” this guide treats four hours as the current common experience rather than a permanent official guarantee.
Code and account issues are separate from the death timer
If you are waiting to enter the site rather than waiting to retry Threshing, check your email and spam folder. The official FAQ says codes are sent in batches.
